MS. HURT
After graduating from West Oahu with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, I joined the Peace Corps and served in The Gambia, West Africa. I learned a new language, culture, and way of life and loved being a teacher. I came back to Hawai'i and joined the Hawaii DOE as an English Language Learner (ELL) teacher to start a career teaching English as a Second Language. Eventually, I would like to continue traveling and learn more languages. I'm so happy to be teaching in the Waianae Coast with all of the amazing students who live there!
